Literary translation
Here are excerpts from some of the literary translations I've done.
La llamada de la cruz santa
El cantar de Carathorn
Reaper el Chivo
This is my most special project.
This epic fantasy novel was written and self-published by a dear friend. He commissioned me to translate it into as many languages as I could, and here is a little piece of its English version.
You'll be able to read the beginning of the first chapter in both versions for comparison.
Fortune's Fools
Seabury Quinn
The second one is another fantasy work (do you see a pattern here? I think I do...)
Anyway, this tale was published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales. This one was published in July 1938, and tells a story about an acestor of renowned French supernatural detective Jules de Grandin, who in the time was compared even with Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot.
